Hassan & Hussain Enterprises is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction plans and prepare detailed quantity requirements.
- Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, contracts, and negotiate the best deals for the company.
- Liaise effectively with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Track material usage on-site and order additional materials as needed to avoid delays.
- Document and manage any changes in design, updating budgets and plans accordingly.
- Provide strategic advice on cost-saving measures and project efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in construction estimating, financial management, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Sound knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Strong aptitude for working with numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize effectively.
